Our poplar wood comes from certified, controlled European poplar plantations.

Our water-based lacquers are solvent-free, meaning they do not burden the environment or the health of our employees.

Our design ensures that the individual elements are connected without the use of glue or similar substances. As a result, a dupiano is completely dismantlable, easy to repair, and recyclable.

Regional
Not only does the material take the shortest possible transport route, but production is also located entirely in Germany. Split between two locations, design, cutting, assembly, and shipping are all handled as regionally as possible.

Markus - developed the dupiano

“I’m Markus – pianist, producer, and founder of dupiano.
After years on stage with a keyboard and a rickety X-stand, I finally wanted to feel like I was sitting at a real piano again.
So I built it – using sustainable materials, sturdy, beautiful, and foldable in seconds.

By the way, I’m building the whole thing at my grandparents’ former farm. This is where the production is based, along with everything else needed to build a small business. In the long term, I’d love to preserve the farm with this venture and develop it into a place for creative makers.
